Happy Easter everyone,
I didn’t get a chance to video or do the draw for the winner of the House and Home competition today (mixture through feeling it should be a bank holiday and feeling lazy/long lunch etc, going to see a client for an hour and looking after a poorly little goat kid) and am planning a day of painting tomorrow so I’m going to leave it until after the weekend so if you haven’t entered yet and wish to, do go ahead.
If you’d like to snap up these little storage boxes by Greengate which double as Easter decorations, they are now half price (€6/£5/$9).
And don’t forget to check out our other Products of the Day for genuine bargains of quality products too.
Happy Easter, Lorna x
There is something beautifully plain about brown cardboard and it is not just for boxes any longer. I have admired this man’s masterpieces with cardboard over on the Scarlet Opus blog and just had to show them here too. Giles Miller uses corrugated cardboard to great effect to create wonderful products and images. Below is the masterpiece he created for the Stella McCartney flagship store in Paris.
Check out Giles’s website to see his fabulous cardboard creations – clocks, chairs, sofas, lampshades, tables, bags, screens – my favourite are the lampshades and screen – what’s yours?
We were delighted to open up Dara Flynn’s pages in the Sunday Times Home supplement yesterday and see our Love Mae fabric mini stickers featured:

I’m going to start a ‘Product of the Day’ post too – sometimes they will be products from our own online store as we do buy things that we love but some will be little gems that I find on other online stores too.
I noticed this on a UK site last week but our very own Irish Mabel and Violet have it too (we’re a bit pre-occupied with height in our house at the moment and trying not to be as our 6 year old has overtaken our 8 year old – in height, shoe size and weight!)
