Country Living – by Jab
I’m sure all the readers of this blog know that I am a fan of country living interiors – in certain rooms. I wouldn’t necessarily like every room decorated in a country style (unless of course, I was living in a gorgeous little cottage) but I love country kitchens and while I am not hugely into busy florals, I do like country bedrooms as well.
This Rose fabric by Jab features a splendid rose tree on a three metre panel. The large and small Ink-Jet printed rose buds and blossoms on a cotton ground cloth are available in the ground colours white, beige and light blue. The rose motifs vary in red, yellow and beige. Isn’t it really restful with the calm green chair and gorgeous white rug (Jab design rugs and carpets too – gorgeous) The mirrors and framed pictures create a sense of opulence too which prevent it becoming too twee.
Even if natural flower meadows seem to be diminishing in popularity in parts, here they are in the Mirador collection from JAB ANSTOETZ. Colourful blossoms play about on a cotton ground. Flowers crane their heads upwards, here and there a butterfly or ladybirds buzz, grasshoppers stop for a moment. All cotton fabrics contained in this collection are 150cm wide and embroidered with a fine viscose glaze yarn.

I’ve spent a couple of hours stripping wallpaper again, off to make rhubarb tarts with the children now. There will be pastry everywhere!!
