The word 'promenade' has connotations (for me) of nineteenth century ladies and gentleman taking a stroll along Brighton pier or out at Howth or Dun Laoighaire.
Barneby and Gates's wallpaper Promenade looks like a traditional French toile from the distance but as you look closer, you will see it is a fun and light hearted interpretation on fashions from the last century. You'll spot an Edwardian lady talking to a punk from the 1980s, a teddy boy chatting up a flapper girl, an eighties Vivienne Westwood girl, city gents, a Celia Birthwell clad chick and many more - all living in catwalk heaven.
Designed in a beautiful Wedgewood Blue - this is a fabulous wallpaper and would look wonderful in bedrooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms - and a must for young fashion lovers.
