Whitby Wallpaper - Lido

Mini Moderns are all at sea with their latest nautical-but-nice wallpaper design.

Inspired by 1950s linocuts, ‘Whitby’ captures the majesty and beauty of the open sea, as well as the vibrancy of a working fishing harbour.

The print features a pair of brave fishing boats, circled by a flock of hungry seagulls. The bold wave motif creates the effect of the sea morphing into a cloudy sky, forming a dramatic horizontal stripe. The colours of weathered seaside awnings and fisherman’s overalls informed the palette.

The wallpaper comes in 10m x 52cm rolls printed with waterbased inks on paper from sustained forests.
