No, you don't have to pay the Irish rate of VAT. The VAT is included in the price that you see and once you input your American address at the check-out stage, the VAT rate of 21% will be removed.

However, you may have to pay import duties upon receipt of your order. It is impossible for us to calculate that as each American state seems to differ with its tax rate and the price at which it applies.
